Hi, I'm Arash Mohammadi — a Back-End Engineer with around 3 years of hands-on experience building and maintaining production Python back-end services.

What I do best: I start from the business, not the code. I sit with the people who own a process, learn the rules they actually work by — including the exceptions nobody mentions until they break — and turn them into a clear data model, explicit workflows and software that behaves the same way on the busiest day of the month: inputs validated at the edges, logic covered by tests, and production observable when something goes wrong. Payment flows, HR rules, insurance and tax filings have all been this kind of work.

I integrated multiple data sources and third-party systems — payment providers, SMS gateways, ERP data — into one production platform and optimized PostgreSQL workloads over 1M+ rows. I ship with Docker on Linux, backed by unit and integration tests, and keep production honest with Grafana, Prometheus, Sentry and ELK.

Before engineering I spent ten years running a company, from sales specialist to general manager. That is where I learned to read a business: how money moves, where processes break, and what people need as opposed to what they first ask for. It shows up in my work as careful requirements, clear planning and direct communication with stakeholders.

Domain: I have traded forex, crypto and the Iranian stock market for years and know the mechanics behind them — order types and leverage, execution and spreads, exchange and wallet flows, on-chain transfers, MetaTrader and exchange APIs.

01. Provider Integration Service

Built and run for my own account. A full pipeline from research to live execution on gold: a multi-timeframe backtester, a replay harness that pushes history through the live code path and must report zero mismatches before anything goes live, an MT5 execution layer with partial take-profit, breakeven and trailing-stop management, and a risk manager with fixed-fractional sizing, spread limits and DST-aware session windows.

04. flight-management-api

A small REST service for flight records with a router / service / repository split. Create, read, partial update, delete, and a list endpoint with filtering, sorting and pagination.
▸ One JSON envelope for every response, errors included; updates are validated against the merged record so a partial update can never break a rule that creation enforces.

سلام، من آرش محمدی هستم؛ مهندس بک‌اند پایتون در تهران. حدود ۳ سال است سرویس‌هایی می‌سازم و نگه می‌دارم که پول و داده‌ی واقعی از آن‌ها عبور می‌کند؛ از تحلیل نیاز و مدل‌سازی داده تا استقرار و پشتیبانی در محیط عملیاتی (Django، FastAPI، Odoo، PostgreSQL، Docker).

نقطه‌ی قوت من: کار را از کسب‌وکار شروع می‌کنم، نه از کد. با صاحبان هر فرایند می‌نشینم، قواعدی را که واقعاً با آن کار می‌کنند می‌فهمم، حتی استثناهایی که تا وقتی چیزی خراب نشود کسی از آن‌ها حرف نمی‌زند، و آن را به مدل داده‌ی شفاف، گردش‌کار روشن و نرم‌افزاری قابل اتکا تبدیل می‌کنم که در شلوغ‌ترین روز ماه هم همان‌طور رفتار کند: ورودی‌ها اعتبارسنجی شده، منطق با تست پوشش داده شده و رفتار سیستم در محیط عملیاتی قابل پایش. جریان‌های پرداخت، قواعد منابع انسانی و فایل‌های بیمه و مالیات همه از همین جنس بوده‌اند.

در گروه کارآفرینی فراتر:

▸ مالکیت جریان پرداخت: اتصال سه درگاه پرداخت و چند سامانه‌ی پیامکی از طریق REST و SOAP، با مسئولیت کامل هر تراکنش از درخواست تا پاسخ نهایی و مدیریت خطا.

▸ تصمیم معماری: جدا کردن یکپارچه‌سازی‌ها از هسته‌ی Odoo در قالب یک سرویس مستقل پایتون، تا هر درگاه بدون دست زدن به سیستم اصلی تغییر کند و مستقر شود.

▸ منطق پیچیده‌ی کسب‌وکار: طراحی نرم‌افزار منابع انسانی با قواعد پیچیده، گردش‌کار و کنترل دسترسی گروهی، و خودکارسازی فایل‌های بیمه و مالیات مطابق الزامات قانونی ایران.

▸ کارایی در مقیاس: ساخت و بهینه‌سازی گزارش‌های مالی چندستونی روی بیش از یک میلیون رکورد PostgreSQL.

▸ پایداری: تست واحد و یکپارچگی، استقرار با Docker روی لینوکس، و پایش با Grafana، Prometheus، Sentry و ELK.

پیشینه: پیش از مهندسی نرم‌افزار، ده سال در یک شرکت از کارشناس فروش تا مدیر اجرایی پیش رفتم. همان‌جا یاد گرفتم کسب‌وکار را بخوانم: پول چطور جابه‌جا می‌شود، فرایندها کجا می‌شکنند و آدم‌ها واقعاً به چه نیاز دارند، نه فقط آنچه اول می‌خواهند. سال‌ها در فارکس، رمزارز و بورس ایران معامله کرده‌ام و سازوکار سفارش، اهرم، اسپرد، صرافی و کیف‌پول را از نزدیک می‌شناسم. کارشناسی مهندسی مواد از دانشگاه صنعتی شریف؛ کارشناسی ارشد مهندسی نرم‌افزار در حال تحصیل.
